Which One is Here To Stay

For decades people have read paperbacks and never in their wildest dreams thought they would be replaced. Sadly, one of the oldest traditions, reading in ink and paper, was finally broken when the first Ebook reader was invented. Soon after, we were torn between Ebooks and paperbacks. So now we will explore the many arguments on why paperbacks are better than Ebook readers.

Many Ebook users argue that E-readers use  no paper unlike paperbacks. Alas, if Ebook users realised that the composition of E-Readers use more natural resources; to name a few, Silicon, Aluminium, Iron, Gold, or Copper. So if you actually think about it, paperbacks use less resources than E-Readers do.

As a matter of fact E-readers have an advantage over paperbacks in weight and size. However, the grouse put forward by traditionalists is that E-books don't feel or look like paperbacks. E-readers don't let us experience the musty smell of old paper, or the rustling of pages. This is an excellent argument and thousands agree Ebooks should try to gain these characteristics.

Furthermore, you can present paperbacks to various charities, or  donate it to libraries. Reading spreads happiness and joy, and by donating books you can transport readers into another world.

In a word, paperbacks give you an experience, use less resources, and spreads joy  and happiness. I strongly believe that the novelty of Ebook readers will soon fade into another momentary fad.

  2. Great topic, Seth! I'm a book lover. To say I am an E-reader lover just doesn't sound like it will ever quite catch on. You've shared some compelling points, most of which remind me that I am on the right path with my shelves of musty books!
